Where I’ve been…

And the winner for the most inconsistent blogger goes to….yours truly. What can I say, life with two kids is crazy, and it has taken me a while to find my groove as a stay at home mama.

Turns out creating recipes, photographing said recipes and writing it all out is a little difficult to do with a 2 year old and 4.5 year old that are constantly on the move, but after putting the kiddos in preschool a few days a week, mama’s got some free time back.

I love being a stay at home mom, but there is a massive part of me that misses the creative process. If you know me, there is nothing more I love than throwing a party, entertaining, and as always, cooking up healthy takes on my favorite foods. While this website has given me an outlet with all things food, I have decided that I would like to also branch a bit into all of the creative facets that life has to offer.

Don’t worry, the primary focus of this blog has and always will be centered around living a lean and clean life, but I guess what I am trying to say is that I want to be more candid with you, and more real on the day to day happenings. Whether it be awesome grocery finds, menus for entertaining friends, navigating and hosting parties with food intolerances, or trying to sneak your kids vegetables in a way they will actually eat, I want to have you covered.

Living lean and clean is a lifestyle, and that means showing you all the things that go into that. I want to show you how to stay on track without ever sacrificing fun in the process. After all, life is meant to be lived, and I want to help you navigate that while still reaching your goals.

If you’ve stuck with me this long, thank you. It has been a whirlwind 5 years, but it’s time to get back to doing something that gives me that creative outlet that I love.
